Craig Hammond has been appointed Head Coach of Nottingham Rugby in the UK Championship and will be moving on from the Club this summer. After nine fantastic seasons with Hong Kong Scottish we are sad to see him go, but wish Hammo, Rosie and the kids all the best for this exciting new opportunity and move back to the UK in July.

Hammo returns to Nottingham were he played most of his professional rugby, having represented the club for 11 seasons (2001-12), playing in 289 league games, 236 of those as captain, and notching 24 tries (120 points) – before moving to Hong Kong to start his coaching journey with us.

Hammo has been instrumental in the development of Hong Kong Scottish and will leave a lasting legacy. He has worked incredibly hard and fully deserves this opportunity, and we wish him every success in his new role.

More details to follow shortly.
