We hosted a special fitness event on Wednesday night at Victoria Park with Mind HK in support of ‘move it for mental health’ month. This campaign aims to raise awareness of how exercise benefits your physical and mental health by encouraging everyone to get active 30-mins every day of February and through special events like ours.
This event was free and open to all, so it was great have over 40 people join us from across the Club and wider community, and see smiles all round. A special thanks goes to Kate Wood (netball) for organising this and Kat Roszynski (women’s rugby), Jack Cullen and Mike Green (men’s rugby) for leading the session – great job everyone.
We love the work that Mind HK is doing to support anyone in HK facing mental health problems. For more information please visit www.mind.org.uk or follow Mind HK on Instagram or Facebook.
