As part of the Edinburgh Napier University Pass It On Rugby Programme with Hong Kong Scottish, chidlren from the Changing Young Lives Foundation centre got to meet Wai Bei, the HKRFU mascot.
The children were attending an Introduction to Rugby with Hong Kong Scottish Club Captain Craig Wilson and were surprised to see Wai Bei make an appearance as well to teach them about the fundamentals of rugby. The children also got the chance to pose for photos in Hong Kong jerseys which we hope to see them in in the future.
Since the start of the scheme, 2 players from the Pass It On Programme have progressed into the Hong Kong Scottish Bravehearts side that are currently on a 7 game winning streak.We hope to see more kids progressing in the future!
