Season 2 of the KPMG Summer Rugby program kicked off in the hot months of 2017 as underprivileged kids from around Hong Kong as well as staff from different departments within KPMG spent every Wednesday morning for 8 weeks learning the ins and outs of Rugby at the Rock, Shek Kip Mei. The program which spans the next eight weeks consists of progressive rugby based games that are intended to build the Children’s skills sets both physically and mentally. The course is specifically designed to teach the children to communicate effectively with people of all ages while building confidence and most of all having fun. As well as benefiting the children this program encourages the KPMG staff to participate in the games and help coach. This dual role promotes effective communication techniques, interdepartmental interaction and leadership.
