Hong Kong Scottish is pleased to share several important leadership updates as the club continues to strengthen its governance and strategic direction. These decisions were confirmed at the Annual General Meeting held on 21 May 2026.

After many years of exceptional service, Stewart Saunders has stepped down from his role as President. Stewart has been instrumental in shaping the identity, culture, and community spirit of Hong Kong Scottish since its inception. His contribution and legacy will remain a cornerstone of the club’s story. Reflecting on Stewart’s tenure, Chair Simon Lowth noted, “Stewart’s stewardship has been instrumental in establishing the strong governance and culture we benefit from today. We extend our sincere thanks for his years of dedicated service and leadership.”

The club is delighted to confirm that Dave Bruce has been appointed as the new President. Dave brings deep experience, long‑standing commitment, and a clear vision for the club’s next chapter. His leadership will help guide Hong Kong Scottish through an exciting period of growth and development as the club celebrates its 15th Anniversary Year. As Simon added, “With Dave stepping into the Presidency and the committee strengthened by new appointments, we are well placed to continue driving the club forward with clarity, accountability, and ambition.”

Hong Kong Scottish is also pleased to recognise developments within its rugby and community programmes. Brad Tuff continues in his role as Head of Minis & Youth, providing leadership across the junior pathway and supporting the implementation of the club’s new, exciting age‑grade structure. Supporting this area, Harry has stepped into the role of Minis & Youth Coordinator, assisting with delivery, logistics, and engagement across the age‑grade programme. In addition, Lachie has taken on the position of Foundation Lead, supporting the growth of the club’s community outreach and charitable initiatives. Both have already made valuable contributions and will continue to play an important part in the club’s operational delivery.

As confirmed at the AGM, the General Committee for the 2026/27 season is as follows:
