On Wednesday evening, members of the Hong Kong Scottish Clan joined Impact HK founder Jeff for a Kindness Walk around Sham Shui Po. Kindness walks (organised by the Foundation) are focused on providing kindness and support for the homeless and needy throughout Hong Kong.

In October 2020, our ‘5,911 Miles’ virtual walking event, organised by rugby section’s Brad Tuff, saw participants raise over HK$180,000 for Impact HK by walking and running huge distances in the space of a week. Last night some of these participants from the rugby, football, netball and social sections got to be part of the incredible work that the Foundation does, and saw how it is making a difference within the ever-growing homeless community in Hong Kong.

Impact HK not only provides food, water and temporary shelter to the homeless on a daily basis, but also works consistently to form bonds, teach new skills and create long term solutions to house people and give them job opportunities.

We would like to thank Jeff for leading the walk and everyone who participated, and a special mention Mike Parfitt for donating half his wardrobe! We hope to continue to grow this relationship with the Charity and be involved in more Kindness Walks and other acts of kindness in the future.
