We had a fantastic time this week delivering online rugby-themed activity sessions for the children of Bloomberg staff.
The idea came about as we recognised this period is quite challenging for a lot of children and parents who are home schooling, so wanted to play a small role in keeping everyone active and having lots of fun.
We ran three different sessions to accommodate the different age groups – 2-6, 7-12 and 13+ (to over 40 children in total). We incorporated rugby-themed fitness activities and games such as ‘Coach Isaac says…’ (a take on Simon says), scoring tries as part of the
fitness circuits, movement activities with rugby balls, and were mightily impressed with the energy and engagement from all participants.
