Last Friday Hong Kong Scottish hosted a virtual cycling event with sponsors Mazars in order to raise funds and awareness for the Movember Foundation. The Movember Foundation fundraises for men’s health, particularly mental health, suicide awareness and prevention, as well as prostate and testicular cancer research and treatment.

The aim of the event was to partner up for some friendly competition on static bikes. Each team of two took it in turns to ride as far as they could within 10 minutes, with prizes up for grabs including best individual scores, best team score and ‘best team spirit.’

There was a tremendous turnout from the Mazars staff and Hong Kong Scottish players, with a total of 14 teams taking part over the afternoon (in shifts). First XV players Cameron Smith and Mikkel Christensen were joined by new HKS signings Gafa Su’a and Isaac Cavu in the challenge, pedalling some impressive distances.

Thank you to Mazars for running this charity event with us and to everyone who participated! Also a big thank you to ECO Lifestyle Fitness for supplying the Watt bikes for the event. We look forward to partnering with both companies for more similar events in the future!
