HKS was delighted to team up with our corporate partner Mazars and Impact Hong Kong www.impacthk.org on Monday 15 October 2018. Around 50 volunteers from Mazars and the various HKS sporting sections gathered in Mong Kok to hand out food, clothes and sanitary supplies to the homeless people of that area. Every volunteer donated towards the foundation and well over HK$13,000 was raised.
“As a club it’s great to get our sponsors and members together to give back to the local community, Impact are doing a fantastic job in rehabilitating the homeless, providing them with food and cloths as well as a place to relax during the day, play pool and stay stimulated at their HQ on Oak Street. There are some real success stories with around 24 homeless people in the last 6 months taken off the street, housed and now fully employed which is a brilliant achievement by the charity.” – Bryan Rennie
