Match Report vs Kowloon

Bloomberg Hong Kong Scottish played against Kowloon RFC at Kings Park on Saturday 27th of January 2018. Kowloon started well and scored a try through Jack Neville and another through Bryn Phillips and suddenly HKS found themselves 14 - 3 down with 20 minutes played. The team managed to consolidate and apply pressure which resulted in a yellow card for Kowloon and a penalty try resulted. Continued pressure while Kowloon were down a man saw the Scots pick up another penalty try and a pick and go try through captain Josh Dowsing shortly after. Half time 24 - 14 to HKS. 

Scottish kept piling on the pressure in the second half and their bonus point try came through Mike Parfitt off the back of another successful drive form the forwards, Lex Kaleca scored off a trademark burst near the Kowloon line but the final try was the pick of the bunch as second row, Kyle Sullivan gallop in from 50 meters out, skinning the Kowloon fullback on his way to a memorable try. Finals score 45 - 28 to HKS. Hong Kong Scottish will play Natixis HKFC on Thursday night, 1st of February at HKFC with a 7:30 pm kick off time.  

The HKS Nomads had a convincing win against Kowloon 2nds 53 - 19. Tries by Jack Cullen (2), Mark Coebergh, James Honey, Ashton Hyde, John Moran, Andrew Bruce, Ross Thompson and Loveni Enari helped the team secure their spot in 2nd in the Prem A League. 

HKS Bravehearts won 48 - 11 against Revolution and the HKS Kukris narrowly lost to 5-7 to Revolution.
