Kenya Tour August 2017

Several Bloomberg Hong Kong Scottish Players are set to feature in the next set of Hong Kong International games against Kenya. The Hong Kong National team will tour Kenya in late August for two international test matches. The familiar faces of Lex Kaleca, Mike Parfitt, Kyle Sullivan, Jack Parfitt and Marcus Ramage will be making the trip to Africa alongside debutant Evi Seumantafa. The Team is Coached by HKS head Coach craig Hammond and is supported by HKS player Luke Davey in the Strength and Conditioning Role.

World Rugby U20 Trophy

The Hong Kong Rugby Union has announced the squad that will be making the trip to the World Rugby U20 Trophy in Montevideo Uruguay. The 26 man squad is made up of the best up and coming talent in the Hong Kong rugby scene. Hong Kong Scottish is well represented with five players making the team including Mark Coebergh, who will captain the side. Gregor and Marcus Ramage, Austin Robertshaw and Lachlan Oliver-Kerby make up the rest of the Scottish contingent. In addition to the players HKS 1st XV coaches Bryan Rennie and Stephen Dowse will be coaching the team, Thomas Savidge is also on board as the strength and conditioning coach. The competition will run from the 22nd of August to the 13th of September. Good Luck to all players and staff involved. 




Sevens Pre Season Training Cap – Germany

The Hong Kong sevens team is preparing for the upcoming season with a training camp tour to Germany. The six day tour will see all sixteen Hong Kong Sevens players train at the Olympic Training Centre in Heidelberg. Included in the squad is 2016/17 HKS player of the season Kane Boucaut and HKS rising tar Ale Nardoni.
